SAFE Club will be running a Summer STEM Camp starting on June 3rd. The camp will be held at Pahrump Valley High School, due to construction at RCMS. It will run from June 3-June 25th, Monday through Friday from 8 am - 12 pm. June 19th is a holiday. This camp is only open to currently enrolled RCMS 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students for the 2023-2024 school year. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Transportation may be provided depending on your home address, and approval through NCSD Transportation for the summer program.
The program will be focused on STEM project-based learning activities. Activities that we plan to work on include water rockets, solar transportation, gravity-based activities, straw rocket design and testing, hot air balloons, magnetic transportation, bridges, mini drones and other activities.
