Dear Parents and Guardians
We have seen a rise in cases, bringing our on-campus positive cases to a total of 4. Due to the rapid rise in cases, we have made the decision to go to virtual learning for all schools K-12, beginning on Thursday, August 26th. Teachers will instruct virtually for 2 weeks. In person learning will resume on September 13th, 2021. If you do not feel comfortable sending your child tomorrow, we understand and support your decision. Please make sure you contact the teachers to ensure you student has all required materials to participate in virtual learning. You may pick up materials and Chromebooks at the office, if necessary, beginning Monday, August 30th at 8 am. If you have not signed the long-term use agreement for the Chromebooks, please do so immediately so we can issue your student a device. Students in attendance tomorrow, Wednesday August 25th will receive necessary materials, which may cause their backpacks to be heavy and may require adult assistance. Elementary students will have notes and printed materials in their backpacks. Please make sure to check their folders and backpacks carefully.
All practices and extracurricular activities will be cancelled until we return to in-person learning. Sports seasons will still take place when we are back on campus, unless we are informed otherwise.
Please be advised that attendance will be taken and students will be required to be on camera and participate in class in order to be marked present, unless other arrangements have been made with the teacher and administrator.
